YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN SPRING HILL AND THOMPSON’S STATION!
WE INVITE YOU TO CONSIDER BECOMING A KIWANIS MEMBER
WHO: YOU – can make a difference by working with others, who live and work in Spring Hill and Thompson’s Station, to serve our communities and especially the children.
WHY: Kiwanis members are volunteers changing the world through service to children and our communities. Perhaps our work in developing young leaders in our schools makes us an extraordinary civic organization.
Kiwanians work together, have interesting programs, and make a difference. Members are a group of young and old, women and men, business, professional, active or retired, and stay-at-home mothers and fathers.
WHAT: Kiwanis has hands-on projects during which we raise money for such things as support for The Well Food Pantry, college scholarships for graduating high school seniors, Boy Scout troops, and other worthy activities.
The Club has funded over $30,000 in Teachers Grants for the Public Schools that students living in Spring Hill and Thompson’s Station attend; given over $40,000 to the Imagination Library; and funded Mobile Food Pantries for The Well Food Pantry. Kiwanis sponsors the annual Spring Hill Christmas parade, and donated equipment for the City of Spring Hill Port Royal Park.
Dues are reasonable as well as tax deductable. Meetings are quick, casual, fun, and filled with interest.
DID YOU KNOW: A business can have an institutional membership and any member of your staff can attend if you have another commitment?
WHEN: Meetings are on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 12:00 – 1:00 PM in the offices of Spring Hill Fresh at 2524 Depot St., Spring Hill, TN 37174. Join us for more information.
FOR MORE INFORMATION: Please call Bridget Ward at 931-486-3674 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
