                                                 KIWANIS CLUB OF SPRING HILL
The Past

  • We donated over $33,000 to the Spring Hill Imagination Library over the past 3 years.
  • We awarded more than $16,000 in grant money to teachers in Spring Hill/Thompson’s Station schools.
  • We provided $2,875.50 to help build the new playground at Longview Elementary School.
  • We presented more than $3,000.00 to The Well Food Pantry in Spring Hill.
  • We sponsored the Spring Hill Christmas Tree Lighting, Christmas Parade, and the Movies in the Park, now City Fest.
  • We have worked with 4 different scouting groups to either raise funds or provided the opportunity for them to learn about helping others.
The Present

  • We serve on the Board of Directors for The Well Food Pantry.
  • We are hosting the Fourth Annual Cycling for Children Charity Bike Ride.
  • We serve on the Board of Directors of The Imagination Library.
  • We are looking forward to the Christmas Parade and preparing for that event.
  • We are raising funds for the Priority One Teacher Grant Program.
  • We hosted our Third Annual Father Daughter Dance.
The Future

  • We want to set up K- Kids, Builders Clubs, and Key Clubs in the schools to help teach the children to serve the community.
  • We want help build a New Park in Spring Hill and watch the children play in a safe area and know we were a part of it.
  • We know that by providing the Priority One Teacher Grants on an annual basis, we are touching, in some cases, whole schools.
  • We know that by helping and providing funds for The Well Food Pantry, we are making sure that needy families are not going hungry.
  • We are proud that providing books and helping to build home libraries, the Spring Hill Imagination Library Program is creating a community of lifetime learners that will benefit the children for their entire lives.
  • We see that by coming together as Kiwanians, we create friendships and make a difference for our community.
  • We know that by growing our Club, we have an opportunity to reach more children.
You are invited to join us for lunch and more information. We meet each Tuesday in the Community Room at the Kroger Marketplace, 4726 Traders Way, Thompsons Station, TN 37179 from 12 – 1 PM.
